Desire fun

Okay, so my husband and I are looknig to go to Desire soon.  We have a few questions and was hoping others that have been there could elaborate :-).

How does the Desire property in Cancun compare to other resorts...we have been to one other all inclusive in Cancun and loved it....very nice.  Are the accomodations comparable to the other very fine resorts?

When is the best time to go?  We evidently missed the swingercast group event going so we are wondering if there was a bad time to go?  Is there always a good amount of people?  From some posts we read, there doesn't seem to be too many weirdos that go - concern for me - if we say NO to someone, we don't want stalkers :-).  We also want to go when there are a decent amount of people for "fun".  We don't want to go when the resort is "dead" and there are VERY few people there.

We would like to watch and be watched - we have read some of the forums/reviews and it appears that open sex does not just happen in the "designated" areas.  One place we want to be "open" is on the beach.  Can someone elaborate on where we can be watched and where we can watch? 

Lastly, what to bring?  What clothes, outfits, toys, etc to bring.  We hear that condoms are not out for use and we need to bring a supply, true?

I've stayed at only one other resort in Cancun and Desire blew it away. (pun intended) The accommodations at Desire are very good and you should be able to really enjoy yourselves.

Best time to go? Better not ask me this one.  The week after our Desire Los Cabos trip, the resort was hit by a hurricane. Three weeks after this last Desire Cancun trip, is when this current Flu controversy hit. With that said, I may not be the best predictor but I'd say the summer months have very high temps.

I'd look for a group that is going about the same time you plan to travel and try and hook up with them. It is so much fun to travel with a group. (Especially ours, hint hint. Hope to have details about a 2010 trip soon.)

RE: Where to get it on....Allie and I had sex on the beach on one of the beds right under the nose of one of the guards. Others in our group told us they had sex on the beach during the day without a problem.  Of course there is also a lot of daily sex happening in the beds near the Jacuzzi and at night in the playroom behind the bar.
