Hi... we just signed up and are heading to Desire Cancun in April with the Sex Is Fun and Swinger Cast groups... looking forward to having a blast!
While wanting to "get away" is part of the trip, we still need to be able to get phone and internet access if at all possible.
We would like to bring an iPhone with us which should provide internet and phone service. The provider for that is AT&T.
Does anyone know if an iPhone works at the resort?

We went last summer. Our service is also with ATT. We had no problem getting phone service or internet access via our phones. I tracked the Tour De France on the web all week and never had a problem.

Duet Again's iPhone worked great at Desire Los Cabos, abd was a useful prop on Adam and Eve night.
BUT.......
Turn off data roaming or you will be in for a BIG surprise when you get home.

We have T-mobile and were wondering the same thing?
K
Brought the work smartphone to Desire last year since we knew it worked outside the U.S. The service is through T-Mobile and it worked fine at the resort.

Used Verizon at Desire in March 2007 and and again this summer in Cancun(vanilla location) without any problems. Just have Verizon activate international calling. It was actually reasonable calling back to the US.

Desire Cancun is currently offering Wifi for $15.00 for the duration of your stay. Coverage is strong at the center bar area just behind the lobby, and extends to the pool area. Rooms in that area should have coverage, but our room, under the Jacuzzi tub didn't get a signal strong enough to do anything with. Plenty of people were seen dragging their laptops to the pool first thing in the morning to check in with the real world, then they all disappeared after that.
